Julie Dominish is the Funeral Director and owner of Bushland Shire Funerals.
She has resided in the Hornsby Shire for over 35 years, is professional, organised, experienced and ensures that every family receives respectful and compassionate service.
Julie is a recipient of The Government of NSW Community Service Award for her longstanding

Julie is a recipient of The Government of NSW Community Service Award for her longstanding work with a local homeless community.
She was also a recipient of the RACGP NSW Practice Manager of the Year.
Julie is your person - she will work through all the arrangements with you, attend and oversee the service and she will personally deliver cremated remains (if applicable) to you.

Julie is passionate about end of life care for both the deceased and the living. She provides education in death preparedness to her local community.
Julie was drawn to this work after the personal experience of the loss of her own parents. She is understanding, kind and genuine.
With the experience and guidance that Julie provides, she helps remove the uncertainty of the unknown. Bushland Shire Funerals is transparent with everything we do and we keep you informed as we navigate this journey together.

Julie takes the time to understand your loved one's life - who they were, what was important to them and reflects in words a service that is personalised and true.

Julie takes the time to understand your loved one's life - who they were, what was important to them and reflects in words a service that is personalised and true. Julie is also comfortable to take the role of MC, to allow family and friends to share whilst overseeing the flow.
Julie always begins with asking to see a photo of your person, which allows her to have a visual image of who she will be honouring.
If you require the services of a celebrant, Julie is available - another way we care for families. When you work with the same person for the entire funeral arrangement there is no need to repeat information and continue to meet new staff.
