The prices listed below are based on the average cost for each type of service. Julie works with you to provide a funeral service that is dignified and within the budget that you are comfortable with.


Direct Cremation

commonly referred to as 'No Service, No Attendance' (NSNA)

Transfer

transferring of the deceased from the place of death to the crematorium.  This price is for a weekday transfer; weekend rates apply for transfers on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. 

Funeral Arranger

the funeral arranger (director) organises the transfer, meeting with the family to complete documentation, coordinating with external suppliers and registering the death with The Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages.

Cremation Certificates

two certificates are required to be issued by an authorised medical doctor - the Cremation Risk Advice and the Medical Referee's Cremation Permit.

Death Certificate

as issued by The Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages.

Cremation Fee

Coffin

basic cardboard or MDF cremation coffin -  a legal requirement in NSW.

Cremation with a Service

A cremation with a service, can either have the coffin present with the cremation taking place following the funeral service, or, the cremation can take place first (NSNA), followed by a memorial service at a later date.

Mortuary Care

includes 5x nights and basic preparation of the deceased

Funeral Arranger

the funeral arranger (director) organises the transfer, meeting with the family to complete documentation, coordinating with external suppliers and registering the death with The Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages, conducting the funeral on the day, delivering the ashes back to the family.

Cremation Certificates

two certificates are required to be issued by an authorised medical doctor - the Cremation Risk Advice and the Medical Referee's Cremation Permit.

Celebrant

if required.  A professional celebrant is a part of the funeral process.  Meeting with the family and learning the story of the deceased, their life and loves; structuring and crafting a personalised funeral ceremony, delivered on the day.

Staff to Assist with Funeral Service

2x staff member for 2 hours. Funeral staff numbers required on the day, vary depending on the needs of the venue, as well as forecast attendance.

Hearse

A range of hearses from vintage Mercedes to modern Fords are available.

Cremation Fee

paid to the crematorium.   

Venue

approx. $550

varies widely in cost.  This cost is approximately the minimum one could expect to pay for a venue.  Venues range from a Surf Club, a Community Centre, a Park, a Family home, a place of Worship, through to a Crematorium chapel.

Coffin

price listed is for a Richmond standard MDF coffin; prices vary depending on choice of make and model, starting from $160 for a Daisy Box (cardboard coffin)

Burial with a Funeral Service

a burial with a service, can be a funeral service followed by the burial graveside service, or, the graveside service can take place first, followed by a memorial service at a later date. This does not include the cost for a burial plot or the opening of a burial plot.
